So Philip ran to him and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and asked,“Do you understand what you are reading?” And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.
Acts 8:30-31
In this perfect example of a divine appointment, the Ethiopian Eunuch invites Philip into his life for the purpose of helping him understand the Scripture he was reading. This open door allowed Philip to share the gospel with him, leading to the miracle of conversion in his life.
The past several weeks we’ve received referrals for women both from other organizations and simply word-of-mouth. Each of these women shared that they either desire to learn more about God or are searching for answers from Him about problems in their lives. Corie, our women’s mentor coordinator, asked one of the women, “Why are you here?” The woman replied, “I don’t why I’m here. I almost called earlier today to cancel my appointment. But I just had this strong feeling that God wants me to come here.”
Like the Ethiopian Eunuch, God has led these women to invite ATLAS into their lives to help them understand His Word more clearly. We trust God is calling specific women believers to disciple these specific women. Please join us in praying for this as well.
